What is education finance?
Education finance refers to a set of institutional arrangements and implementation mechanisms for the government to support education through public finance, which can come from the central government or local governments (including states in federal countries). In fact, in most countries, education is the common responsibility of governments at all levels. In modern society, the sources of education funds are obviously diversified, but individual contributions and public finance are the most important sources of financing. The relative proportion of these two sources of funds is the main feature that distinguishes public and private education.
