Shuyu Building is a teaching building named after educator Zhao Shuyu. Take the four buildings of Nanjing Xiaozhuang College as an example, namely Heqin Building, Shuyu Building, Yuanpei Building and Xingzhi Building. It is the most representative teaching complex of the school. The four buildings embrace an arc and rely on the statue of Mr. Tao Xingzhi in front.

Brief introduction of Zhao Shuyu's life

Tao Xingzhi co-founded the experimental rural normal school to improve rural education, and Zhao Shuyu made a great contribution to it. After the opening of Xiaozhuang Normal School, Tao Xingzhi was the principal and Zhao Shuyu was the dean of the First Hospital (Primary Normal School).
