Shandong Huayu University of Technology is a full-time undergraduate college funded by Dezhou Asia Pacific Group Co., Ltd. and approved by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China). It is a think tank joint unit designated by the Policy Research Office of Dezhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and a member of the Science and Technology Innovation Alliance of the provincial economic circle.
The predecessor of the school is Dezhou Huayu School, which was established in 2002. In 2004, it was transformed into Shandong Huayu Vocational and Technical College and upgraded to a full-time undergraduate college in 20 14.
By March, 2023, the campus area of the school was 1 146.03 mu, the school building area was 430,800 square meters, the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment was130,434,300 yuan, and there were 296 experimental training rooms (centers and workshops).

From June 5, 2002 to 10, Dezhou Municipal People's Government approved the establishment of Dezhou Huayu School. In July, 2004, with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government and the record of People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education, Shandong Huayu Vocational and Technical College was established.
From June 5 to February 2008, as the first batch of pilot colleges in Shandong Province, the college passed the evaluation with high quality. On May 6th, 20 14, approved by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China), Shandong Huayu Vocational and Technical College was established on the basis of Shandong Huayu Vocational and Technical College and upgraded to a full-time undergraduate college.
