In 2023, the self-study examination for higher education in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region offered 20 textbooks and majors (8 majors, 12 undergraduates) and 223 courses at the junior college level.

(B) major and curriculum adjustment
1. According to the relevant requirements of "Administrative Measures for Specialty Setting of Continuing Education with Higher Education" and "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Specialty Setting of Higher Education Self-taught Examination", the name (code) of the major to be opened in our district has been adjusted since 2023, and the new professional name (code) shall prevail when candidates register. In 2024, we will implement the new professional planned curriculum (the specific professional planned curriculum and the transitional measures for curriculum adjustment will be notified separately). Candidates are requested to properly arrange the follow-up study examination plan according to their actual situation.

Second, the candidates and conditions
All People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) citizens, regardless of gender, nationality and education level, can sign up for the higher education self-study exam.
III. Registration Measures and Relevant Provisions
(a) candidates within the specified time, log on to the Xinjiang Admissions Network to inquire about the online registration process and go through the registration procedures.
(two) candidates can apply for the higher education self-study exam at both the college level and the undergraduate level, and the undergraduate graduation formalities must be handled six months after obtaining the diploma.
(III) Candidates who apply for the "Nursing" major in the self-study examination of higher education must upload their own "Health Practice Qualification Certificate" when applying for the examination in accordance with the provisions of Several Opinions of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health on Holding Higher Medical Education (No.0/KLOC [2002]), and only after passing the examination can they apply for the examination.
(four) candidates who apply for the "public security management" major must upload their own judicial practice certificate (work permit or relevant certificate issued by the political department of the unit) before they can sign up for the exam.
(5) Candidates who are unable to register online due to conditions can go to the local, state and municipal self-study examination offices, and the local examination office staff will provide online registration conditions and guide candidates to register online.
(6) Candidates who have completed the registration can log on to the website of Xinjiang Admissions Network one week before the exam and print the admission ticket.
(VII) According to the Notice of the Development and Reform Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Department of Finance of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Adjusting the Relevant Charge Standards for Self-taught Examinations in our region (No.20001468), candidates applying for each course must pay the registration examination fee according to the current standard (35 yuan/Department). Those who fail to take the exam for some reason after registration confirmation will not be refunded.
Fourth, the examination and registration time
(1) Examination time

The examination time of each subject in the higher education self-study examination is 150 minutes, the examination time in the morning is 9: 00-1:30, and the examination time in the afternoon is 14: 30- 17: 00.

The examination method is paper-and-pencil examination, and all courses must use the national common language and writing answer sheets.
Six, examination results query and review
(a) candidates can log on to the portal website of Xinjiang Education Department from 25th of the next month after the examination, and can also inquire through the self-study examination offices of local, state and municipal education bureaus.
(two) candidates have objections to the examination results, can be in accordance with the "higher education self-study examination results review process" (Annex 3) to apply for review.
Seven, practice assessment and thesis defense
(1) For majors with practical link assessment requirements, candidates should sign up for the practical link assessment of relevant courses as required; Graduation thesis writing and defense can only be applied after all the examinations of professional planning courses have passed.

Eight, graduation procedures.
(1) The time for candidates to go through the graduation formalities is June and 65438+February each year (the specific time is subject to the notice of the self-study office of each place, state and city). Candidates must go to the local self-taught office within the specified time and go through the graduation formalities according to the announcement of self-taught graduation (specifically, the announcement issued by official website Examinations Institute shall prevail). Overdue, postponed to the next certification cycle.
(2) Candidates who have graduated from the self-study exam may apply for a degree from an examiner's college with the right to confer degrees, and the conditions and requirements for applying for a degree shall be formulated by the relevant examiner's college.
Nine, self-study examination materials
(1) See the Catalogue of Books for Self-study Examination in 2023 (Annex 2) for the examination materials. Since 2023, newly written or revised textbooks have been marked with ★ before the course name.
Candidates are requested to buy their own textbooks to take the exam.
(2) With the continuous development of social economy, some laws, regulations and economic policies will be adjusted and changed accordingly. The laws promulgated by the National People's Congress and the regulations promulgated by the State Council six months before the examination date will be included in the examination scope of the corresponding courses. Where the contents of the syllabus and textbooks are inconsistent with the existing laws and regulations, the existing laws and regulations shall prevail.
