Education Herald was founded in 1983, which is a comprehensive educational theory publication sponsored by Guangzhou Education Bureau and Guangzhou Institute of Educational Science. In 2008, it won the core journal of Peking University.

Education Guide is the core periodical of Chinese (education) in China, as well as the full-text periodical of China Journal Network, the full-text periodical of China Academic Journal (CD-ROM version) and the statistical source periodical of comprehensive evaluation database of Chinese academic journals.
