1958 In March, in order to carry out the instructions of higher authorities on developing education and work-study programs in mountainous areas, the CPC Lingling County Committee decided to move Lingling No.5 Middle School to Shangrenli, a mountainous county and township. All the teachers and students took action immediately, and Qi Xin moved the school from Shan Zhi to Shangrenli, 90 miles away. In the case of very little school funds, teachers and students began to work hard, work-study programs, and built brand-new school buildings with their own hands. Shuangpai Forest Management Bureau was established in 1964. 1September 1965, Lingling No.5 Middle School was renamed Shuangpai Xiaoshui Forest Middle School. In September of the same year, a new class of senior high school students (53 students) entered the school, and the school changed from junior high school to full middle school. Shuangpai County was founded in February 1969 and in February 1970 10. Shuangpai Xiaoshui Forest Middle School was renamed as Shuangpai County No.1 Middle School.
