Compared with Taiping High School, Yumei High School is slightly better. Yumei High School has strict management of teachers and rich school activities, and adopts educational measures of all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics. However, Taiping senior high school has a traditional teaching system and few campus activities, which is not an all-round development.

Yumei Senior High School was established on August 6th, 2002. It is an institution approved by Wuhan Education Bureau and Civil Affairs Bureau, and belongs to a full-time ordinary senior high school.
