1972, Mawangdui, a suburb of Changsha, Hunan Province, excavated the tombs of the early Western Han Dynasty. About 100 kinds of splendid ancient silk relics have been unearthed in Mawangdui No.1 Han Tomb, which is a very rare discovery in archaeological excavations in China. These colorful textiles and clothes are concrete and vivid evidence of "the country with the earliest civilization development"
Velvet brocade
Reproduction of cultural relics unearthed from Mawangdui No.1 Han Tomb in Changsha. It is the collar of the famous "plain yarn single coat". This kind of fabric is the earliest known loop brocade in China. It looks like a towel when enlarged, and the wool on the surface of brocade is circular. This kind of loop brocade is rare at present, which has created a precedent for the development of velvet fabrics such as velvet and velvet in later generations.
Jin Wang qi Jin zi Bao
The golden robe of the King of Qi is an imitation of that of the King of Qi in the Jin Dynasty. The original cultural relics were unearthed in the tomb of Qi King in Acheng, Heilongjiang Province. The pattern on the royal robes is unique and different from the traditional pattern. Whether it is a figure, a national emblem or an auspicious pattern is still inconclusive.
Brocade of the word "swastika" in Lake Qing (handed down from generation to generation)
The gold satin with the word "swastika" woven on the lake was originally used by the Qing court and was originally hidden in the Palace Museum in Beijing. "Weaving gold satin", also known as "Kujin", was named after being woven into the court's "satin library". The so-called "weaving gold" means that all the patterns on the fabric are woven with gold thread (or silver thread, also known as "treasury silver"). The "Weaving Gold" produced by Jiangning Official Weaving Bureau in Ming and Qing Dynasties was made of real gold. This material is a cultural relic of the Qing Dynasty. Although it has a long history, it still shines with new brilliance. The word "Wan" in the pattern, called "Wan" in Chinese, is based on traditional Buddhist patterns, which originally contained long-lasting, endless and endless meanings. In this fabric, four small swastikas form a group of pattern units, and each pattern unit is integrated through connection, resulting in a unified, compact and endless visual effect. The whole satin gives people a quiet, harmonious and elegant aesthetic feeling.
