The main responsibilities of Bazhong Education Bureau

(a) to implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations of the party and the state on education, and to implement the resolutions and decisions of the higher education administrative departments.

(two) to formulate the city's education system reform plan and education development plan. Responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education at all levels, and guide the education and teaching reform of all kinds of schools at all levels and the adjustment of the layout structure of primary and secondary schools; Responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of the basic information of the city's education system, and guide the construction of educational informatization; Responsible for guiding the propaganda of educational principles and policies and supervision by public opinion.

(three) responsible for the macro guidance and coordination of compulsory education, promote the balanced development of compulsory education in the city, and promote educational equity; Guide ordinary high school education, secondary vocational education, preschool education and special education, promote the teaching reform of basic education, and fully implement quality education; Draw up enrollment plans for ordinary high schools and secondary vocational schools and organize their implementation.

(four) to guide and coordinate the education supervision departments to carry out education supervision work. Responsible for the supervision, inspection, evaluation and acceptance of the work of basically popularizing nine-year compulsory education and basically eliminating illiteracy among young people, and guiding the monitoring of the development level and quality of basic education. Responsible for the supervision, inspection, evaluation and guidance of the education work of the county (district) government and the education and teaching work of the school, and ensure the implementation of the national educational guidelines, policies, laws and regulations and the realization of educational goals.

(five) to guide the development and reform of employment-oriented secondary vocational education, and organize the implementation of "9+3" free vocational education for Tibetan students.

(VI) To be responsible for the overall management of education funds in this department, participate in the formulation of policies and measures for raising education funds, education appropriations and education infrastructure investment, supervise the raising and use of education funds in the whole city, and guide the implementation of education aid, education loans and education cooperation projects outside the country (territory).

(seven) overall planning, comprehensive management of private education in the city, standardize the order of private education, and promote the healthy development of private education.

(eight) in charge of the work of teachers in the city, to guide the construction of talent team in the education system. To guide the establishment of the city's education system, recruitment, labor and wages, social security, cadres and personnel, resource allocation, evaluation of the first model, assessment of rewards and punishments, retirement management and services, file management and other work; To be responsible for the continuing education of teachers, the evaluation and appointment of professional and technical positions and the identification of teachers' qualifications; Responsible for the management of foreign teachers and experts in the education system.

(nine) responsible for the city's higher education examination and academic management. Responsible for the transfer and management of graduates' files in normal universities.

(ten) to implement the national language work principles and policies. Guide the promotion of Putonghua and the training of Putonghua teachers, and undertake the specific work of the Municipal Language and Literature Working Committee.

(eleven) to be responsible for the management of institutions and schools directly under the education, and to guide the organization of educational societies such as societies, associations, research associations and foundations.

(twelve) to guide the education and teaching of all kinds of schools at all levels in the city, and to guide schools and social forces organized by departments and enterprises to run schools.

(thirteen) to guide the construction of spiritual civilization and clean government in the city's education system, and to supervise the internal audit of education funds.

(fourteen) to guide the city's school logistics industry management and school safety and stability. Responsible for the safety management of school buildings, food, sanitation, drinking water, road traffic and teaching facilities and equipment; Coordinate the handling of major school safety accidents.

(fifteen) to undertake other tasks assigned by the municipal government.
