Brief introduction of preschool education content
As a professional basic course to train preschool teachers, the quality of teaching materials directly affects whether students can form a correct understanding and attitude towards preschool education and master the basic knowledge and skills of preschool education. In order to better implement the Regulations on Kindergarten Work and the Guiding Outline of Kindergarten Education (for Trial Implementation) and reflect the new achievements and trends of preschool education reform and research at home and abroad, we have compiled this textbook, Pedagogy for Preschool Children. It is not only a textbook for preschool education in secondary preschool normal schools, but also a reference for kindergarten teachers and preschool educators.

The compilation of this book is based on the requirements of Henan Provincial Department of Education, the needs of preschool teachers' practical work, and the core of this book is the educational concept and educational knowledge and skills that preschool teachers need to engage in kindergarten education, so as to construct the teaching material content system. This book consists of eleven chapters, which are divided into three parts according to the internal relations of each chapter. The first part, the introduction, the first, second and third chapters, is about the basic concepts and theoretical knowledge of preschool education, mainly introducing the historical development and present situation of preschool education at home and abroad, and expounding the goals, tasks and principles of kindergarten education in China and the all-round development of kindergarten education. The second part, namely the fourth, fifth and sixth chapters, discusses the basic elements of kindergarten education, mainly the position, function and relationship of people (teachers and children) and things (kindergarten environment) in education. The third part, namely the seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh chapters, is the implementation of kindergarten education. Starting from the work of kindergarten teachers, this paper introduces the practical work knowledge and skills that kindergarten teachers must understand and master.
