Brief introduction of Kashgar University:
Kashi University, located in Kashgar City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is an engineering university for the basic capacity building of colleges and universities in the central and western regions, and one of the pilot universities for national 100 transformation and development.
As of April 2023, the school has three campuses, Gao Tai, Xinquan and Dongcheng (under construction), covering an area of 3,350 mu, including 450 mu in Gao Tai, 2,000 mu in Xinquan and 900 mu in Dongcheng.
The school has 22 teaching units, offering 62 undergraduate majors, including economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine, management, art, etc., with 5 master's degree authorization points and 7 master's degree authorization points in the first-level discipline; There are 3 key disciplines at the autonomous region level.

The school has two key research bases of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities in autonomous regions, five Industry-University-Research bases for joint postgraduate training in autonomous regions, two key laboratories at the autonomous region level, three experimental teaching demonstration centers, and 1 autonomous region-level engineering technology research center.
