1, waterproof

Each laboratory is equipped with disposable water, pure water, high-purity water or still, water purifier and other water-making instruments. Workers forget to turn off the tap during use, or turn on the tap and forget to turn it off after suddenly stopping water supply.

2. Fire prevention

There are all kinds of fire-fighting equipment in the laboratory, such as alcohol lamp, electric stove, FID gas chromatograph, etc., which will cause fire. These may bring potential safety hazards, so when using these things, we should combine the three elements of combustion-ignition source, combustible and combustion-supporting materials. When using fire, we should eliminate the combustion-supporting materials near the ignition source to avoid fire accidents.

3. Antivirus

It is believed that every laboratory will use toxic reagents, so when using toxic substances, it is necessary to understand the physical and chemical characteristics, usage methods and emergency measures of toxic substances.

4. The reagents commonly used in anti-corrosion laboratories, such as sulfuric acid solution and sodium hydroxide solution, are corrosive. Using corrosive solution will corrode our experimental platform and instruments. Then when using these solutions, our protective measures should be done well. If the solution drops on the test bench and experimental instruments, it should be wiped clean with a rag in time. After use, the waste liquid should be recycled to the container, rather than put in the wrong place.

5, to prevent electric shock

Whether at work or at home, we should prevent electric shock.

6. Explosion-proof and explosive drugs include picric acid, perchloric acid and hydrogen peroxide. Drugs like this should be stored separately, not with other flammable items. When the glass instrument is heated on the electric furnace, the water on the outer wall of the glass instrument should be wiped clean, and glass beads should be put to prevent the glass instrument from breaking. During the explosion operation, if the explosion gas is analyzed by the Austenite gas analyzer, a protective net must be installed outside the explosion bottle. It is forbidden to bake inflammable and explosive articles in the oven.

7, to prevent environmental pollution

Most of the waste produced in the laboratory belongs to waste liquid, and the useless solution we use cannot be directly discharged into the waste liquid pool. We first collect it in a waste bucket for centralized treatment, such as adjusting the pH value of the waste liquid, and then discharge the waste liquid containing heavy metals into the waste liquid pool after replacement and neutralization with another waste liquid, which will reduce the difficulty of sewage treatment, reduce the treatment cost and protect the environment. Wastes include discarded drugs and discarded reagent bottle. Waste drugs should be collected and treated centrally, and cannot be directly thrown into the trash can. Waste reagent bottle should be washed with water before being thrown away.

8, to prevent barbaric operation, barbaric operation is not according to the operating procedures. Barbaric operation is the biggest security risk, so the biggest factor to prevent barbaric operation is to strictly implement the operating procedures. It can be said that every operation procedure is exchanged with the good experience and blood of our predecessors, so every step of our operation must be carried out in accordance with the operation procedure. Some people work long hours, feel that they are experienced in their work, and sometimes they are lazy, but they don't know that this behavior is an important factor leading to accidents. The three elements of accidents are unsafe behavior of people, unsafe state of things and environmental factors. If these three elements are controlled, accidents can be avoided.
