1 compulsory education stage

Based on the basic code of conduct and legal knowledge, focus on the education of rule of law awareness and law-abiding habits. The following contents are mainly implemented in stages:

Junior high school (grades 7-9): further deepen constitutional education. Understand the basic national system and strengthen national identity. A preliminary understanding of the basic principles of government administration according to law and the functions and powers of important state institutions. Recognize the importance of national respect and protection of human rights. Deepen the understanding of citizens' basic rights and obligations.

Understand the basic principles of China's judicial system and establish a sense of respecting the judiciary. Understand the role of procedural justice in realizing the rule of law, and establish the consciousness of handling disputes according to law and rationally safeguarding rights.

2 high school education stage

3 Higher education stage

Based on compulsory education and senior high school education, this paper systematically introduces the basic connotation of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's legal theory system for non-law majors according to the purpose of rule of law education in higher education. Master the basic principles of a country ruled by law and know the Chinese and western origins of the rule of law; Clarify the strategic goal, road choice and the content and mechanism of building a socialist rule of law system in an all-round way; Understand the politics, economy, culture, society and national conditions of the rule of law, and understand the core concepts and principles of the rule of law; Master the basic knowledge of the Constitution and understand the basic legal principles, legal system, civil, criminal, administrative law and other important and commonly used legal concepts and legal norms in the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics; Strengthen the practice of the rule of law, improve the awareness and ability to analyze and solve practical problems by using legal knowledge.

In modern society, the spirit of rule of law also represents the development level of the country. In China, many children have no specific concept of law, or think that law has little to do with themselves, which also urges the Ministry of Education to emphasize the importance of rule of law education again. It is the duty of citizens to know and obey the law. Schools, parents and students should attach importance to learning legal knowledge and improve students' ability to use the law.
