Tuition compensation policy

In order to guide and encourage college graduates to work in grass-roots units, the Ministry of Education implements the policy of tuition compensation for grass-roots employment and national student loan for college graduates directly under the central government who have worked in grass-roots units below the central and western regions, hard and remote areas and old industrial bases for more than three years.

The tuition fees actually paid by graduates who meet the policy during their school days are compensated by the state, and the principal of the national student loan and the interest generated before full repayment are repaid by the state finance.

This policy stipulates the scope of compensation.

The central and western regions involved include Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang 12 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government).

Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and Hebei, Shanxi, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Hainan and other provinces 10. Hard and remote areas refer to the hard and remote areas stipulated by the State Council except the above areas.

The working place is required to go to the countryside (town, street) at the county level (excluding the seat of the county government), and the working place is in the county-level township (town, street) government organs, rural primary and secondary schools, state-owned agricultural (animal husbandry, forestry) farms, and agricultural technology extension stations.

Animal husbandry and veterinary stations, township hospitals, family planning service stations and township cultural stations; Central units such as meteorology, earthquake, geology, hydropower construction, coal, petroleum, navigation and nuclear industry are the front lines of production in hard industries.

Public security organs at or above the county level (including the county level), bureaus (commissions and offices), colleges and universities, and detachments (including detachments) do not belong to grass-roots units; Special industries such as finance, communication, tobacco and alcohol, airplane and train crew, real estate and related industries do not belong to grass-roots units.

The policy is clear. The amount of compensation for each graduate's tuition fee or national student loan is not more than 1.2 million yuan for junior college students and 1.6 million yuan for graduate students.

The part exceeding the standard shall not be compensated, compensated or reduced. If the tuition fees actually paid each year or the national student loan for tuition fees is lower than the compensation standard, the compensation shall be implemented according to the actual tuition fees or the amount of the national student loan for tuition fees.

If the tuition fees actually paid each year or the national student loan used for tuition fees is higher than the compensation standard, the compensation shall be implemented according to the standard. The years of tuition compensation or national student loan compensation shall be calculated according to the corresponding educational system stipulated by the state.

The state will compensate 0.3 of the total tuition fee or 65438+ national student loan for graduates who are employed in grass-roots units below the county level, hard and remote areas and old industrial bases in the central and western regions, and the compensation will be completed in three years.
