Shanxi Huairen No.1 Middle School, founded in 1955, has three campuses with a total area of 550 mu, among which Yingbin School is a 14 track high school with 42 classes and more than 3,000 students. Yundong Campus is a newly-built 12 joint-stock cooperative school in 2002, with 34 classes and nearly 2,800 students. Huaihe Campus is a scientific research and employment preparation education base integrating planting, breeding and research. The school has advanced equipment and complete facilities, basically realizing the modernization of teaching methods.
As a pioneer school of innovative maker education, Huairen No.1 Middle School has gradually promoted a number of primary and secondary schools in the region to jointly carry out innovative maker education. The achievements of innovative education were celebrated at the 20th anniversary academic report of the Department of Educational Technology of Peking University Institute of Education, the sharing meeting of outstanding department friends and the 8th National STEAM Education Conference.
We shared the 10th National Public Teacher Training Conference on Innovative Maker Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, the 11th National Public Teacher Training Conference on Science and Technology Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, and the 2022 Xiamen University Primary and Secondary Information Technology Teacher Training Conference from graphic programming to code programming.
The innovative maker education in Huairen No.1 Middle School is divided into three forms: inclusive education, community guidance and elite training.
