Wuhan Extraordinary Enrollment Fraud Case 146 Students who failed the college entrance examination were cheated.
Chutian City News (Reporter Zhang Linli, Yao Liyuan, Hong Gang, an intern in Yu Hao) borrowed a school building, hired teachers to attend classes, and tricked 100 college entrance examination (forum) students into going to college with false admission notices, thus making a huge profit of 6.29 million yuan. Yesterday, a fake enrollment fraud gang composed of four men and women was tried in Wuhan Intermediate People's Court.

According to the allegations, Wang and Fu are husband and wife, and Wang is engaged in education. As early as June 5438+October 2007 10, Wang Zeng signed a cooperation agreement with the School of International Education of Hubei Jingchu Institute of Technology in the name of "School of Continuing Education of Hubei University of Economics" to jointly recruit international students and issue foreign diplomas after graduation.

After the oral termination of the agreement, Wang continued to recruit students in the name of Wuchang Campus of Jingchu Institute of Technology, recruiting students who failed in the college entrance examination this year. After graduation, he can get a diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education. Mr. and Mrs. Wang hired Zhao and Deng to rent a school building at Wuchang Branch of Chinese University of Science and Technology and hire teachers to teach.

After investigation by the prosecution, the gang privately printed the admission notice within two years, and recruited a total of 146 students who failed the college entrance examination, defrauding 6.29 million yuan.

Yesterday, when the case was heard, Wang argued that running a school was not illegal, which was not enough to constitute fraud. Zhao and Deng argued that they were only school employees and didn't know about fraud; Wang's wife argued, "She never interfered with the school."

The public prosecution agency believes that Wang and other four people have premeditated and planned fraud, and their privately printed admission notices and official seals are important evidence. It is suggested that the court sentence Wang to life imprisonment, Zhao to more than 5 years imprisonment and Deng to 5 to 7 years imprisonment for fraud.
