The research object of educational psychology is the psychological phenomena and laws in the process of education, including various psychological phenomena of the educated and their changing and developing laws, and how educators can effectively educate the educated through these laws. We can understand the research object of educational psychology from the following aspects:

(1) From the relationship between learning process and teaching process, learning and teaching are actually different understandings of the same process.

(2) The educational process includes the activities of teachers and students. Students are both the object and the subject of education, and the leading role of teachers lies in giving full play to the subjective initiative of the object.

(3) The process of school education is the process of interaction between educators and educatees. In order to achieve the educational goal, teachers and students contact, influence, restrict and interact with each other, which causes changes in psychological activities and behaviors of both sides. This kind of teacher-student interaction is also an aspect of educational psychology research.
