Jan Amos Komensky, born in 1592 and died in 1670, is a Czech whose native language is Moravian, a great Czech democratic educator and the founder of modern western educational theory. He is known as the "father of pedagogy" and was born in a miller's family. He was the earliest advocate of public education, and his thoughts were put forward in the book "On Great Teaching".
