The appointment and employment of confidential personnel shall be reviewed in accordance with the relevant provisions. Secret-related personnel should have good political quality and conduct, and have the professional quality and working ability required to be competent for secret-related positions. The following basic conditions shall be met:

(1) specific People's Republic of China (PRC) (PRC) nationality;

(2) Love the motherland and support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(three) honest and reliable, good conduct;

(four) have the professional quality and ability required by the classification post.

The following persons shall not be appointed or employed as confidential personnel:

(1) has received criminal punishment;

(2) Having been dismissed from public office;

(3) Having bad habits such as taking drugs, gambling and drinking;

(4) Being transferred from a classified post due to serious violation of confidentiality provisions.
