The Adult (Continuing) Education College of Wenzhou University is integrated with the technical and management personnel training center, inheriting the rigorous and lively school-running style, exploring and innovating the campus spirit, relying on the secondary colleges to run schools independently and undertaking the task of serving local governments. The college has an office, a continuing education department, a diploma education department, and a technical and management personnel training department. There are 45 undergraduate majors and 29 junior colleges, which are for enrollment inside and outside the province. Students come from Wenzhou, Lishui, Taizhou, Jiaxing, Hangzhou and Qinzhou, Guangxi, and there are 23 correspondence stations. In 2007, there were registered students 16268, including 7 full-time students13, correspondence students 13475, and 2080 cooperative education (distance and postgraduate education) students. College training includes teachers' continuing education, principals' training, foreign language proficiency test (BFT) training for overseas candidates, computer rank test training and enterprise training. From 65438 to 0999, teachers' continuing education was held on a large scale, which lasted for nine years and trained more than 73000 people. Therefore, "teachers' continuing education" was identified by Wenzhou Municipal People's Government as a key construction major in colleges and universities in 2006. In order to improve the quality of education, the Institute of Continuing Education was established in 2006, offering "accompanying reading", "menu" and "modular" continuing education, and striving to build a brand of continuing education.
