It is considered that the nature of the movement is the contradiction between socialism and capitalism, and it is stipulated that the socialist education movement in urban and rural areas is referred to as the four clean-ups, that is, clean politics, clean economy, clean organization and clean thinking. The implementation of this document has actually lost the trust of many grassroots organizations and cadres, and the "Left" deviation in practice has become more and more serious.

Educational characteristics

1. The privilege of the exploiting class to receive education has been abolished, so all people, regardless of gender, race, religious belief and property status, have the right to receive education.

2. Guided by Marxism-Leninism, arm students with communist ideas and modern scientific knowledge and technology, adhere to the combination of theory and practice, and combine education with productive labor to cultivate new socialist people with all-round development in morality, intelligence and physique.

3. Separate education from religion, oppose religious interference in education, and offer religious courses in schools. Socialist society is a long historical period. Socialist education needs to adapt to politics and economy in different historical stages.
