First of all, an in-depth analysis of the current situation of ideal and belief education is the basic premise to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideal and belief education.
To enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideal and belief education, we must first have a scientific understanding and in-depth analysis of the current situation of ideal and belief education. Phenomenologically, we are not short of understanding the problems existing in the education of ideals and beliefs, such as generality, dogmatism, simplicity, emptiness and even lack of effectiveness. It is necessary to constantly call for improvement and countermeasures. At the same time, we should be soberly aware that the lack of in-depth analysis of some phenomena should be a matter of concern when they appear repeatedly or have not changed much after repeated emphasis. The same is true of the education of ideals and beliefs. It is necessary to strengthen the pre-requirements of its pertinence and effectiveness, deeply analyze its development status, and deeply understand the four "simultaneous existences" objectively presented in the education of ideals and beliefs.
(1) From the perspective of the recipient, the lack of pertinence in ideal and belief education coexists with the lack of educational awareness of the educated.
It is an indisputable fact that the education of ideals and beliefs is not targeted enough. But it is also worth paying attention to, when we focus on the educational subject of ideals and beliefs, does the receiving subject get the necessary attention to the educational needs and wishes of ideals and beliefs? This is a question worth thinking about. Combined with the actual work, from 20 10 to 20 1 1, our research group conducted a questionnaire survey on the training needs of leading cadres at the department, bureau and department levels who participated in the training of the Party School of Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. In this survey, 235 questionnaires were distributed and 227 questionnaires were recovered, of which 206 were valid and 2/kloc-0 was invalid, with a total effective rate of 87.66%. In the valid questionnaire, the respondents are: 33 bureau-level cadres, 76 department-level cadres and 97 department-level cadres. Among them, 63.5% of the respondents chose to study the development of this province, and 19.2% chose to combine "communist ideals and beliefs" with "basic theory of Marxism" about the contents that they felt most needed training when studying in party schools, such as "world vision", "modern knowledge", "emergency response" and "professional knowledge". In the answers about what they lack in improving their comprehensive quality, 36%, 365, 438+0%, 265, 438+0.5% and 65, 438+0.5% respectively chose "theoretical basis", "comprehensive ability", "professional knowledge" and "ideal". This survey result definitely has some limitations in fully reflecting party member cadres' cognitive attitude towards the education of ideals and beliefs, but it is undoubtedly an objective reflection of leading cadres' insufficient awareness of the education of ideals and beliefs and their insufficient attention to the role of ideals and beliefs.
A large number of facts also show that the loss of ideals and beliefs and moral decline are the primary reasons why a few cadres in party member go astray and go to corruption, but most cadres in party member feel the important role of ideals and beliefs education only after they are imprisoned. Countless cases tell us that we must attach great importance to the problem of insufficient awareness of being taught in ideal and belief education, and it is not enough to understand that it is the responsibility of educators to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideal and belief education.
(2) From the perspective of educational subjects, the lack of creative vitality of ideal and belief educators coexists with the lack of firm adherence to scientific ideals and beliefs.
The education of ideals and beliefs must have the spirit of creation and exploration. At the same time, such spirit and courage must be based on a basic premise, that is, to keep firm adherence to scientific ideals and beliefs. It is a universal truth that educators should educate themselves first. For an educator of ideals and beliefs, if he is skeptical about the ideals and beliefs he preaches or has no beliefs at all, how can he enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of the education of ideals and beliefs? In this regard, the awareness of enhancing the creativity of ideal and belief educators has attracted more and more attention in practice, but the problems of enhancing the scientific beliefs of ideal and belief educators and how to ensure their firm scientific beliefs are lacking or at least not enough attention, which should really arouse our vigilance. In real life, people who sometimes worry, doubt or even deny Marxism and socialism on the podium, at meetings, in articles and on websites are actually the result of people who undertake the mission of ideal and belief education wavering in their ideals and beliefs. The danger brought by this situation is no less than the danger that wrong values may bring to society.
(3) From the perspective of educational methods, the lack of initiative in ideal and belief education and the lack of strength in ideal and belief education coexist.
There is a certain passive defensive state in the education of ideals and beliefs, which should be objectively acknowledged in order to enhance the effectiveness of the education of ideals and beliefs. However, under the impact of various social thoughts and values, some comrades are unwilling or ashamed to talk about communist ideals, and some party member always feel unreasonable and weak when talking about ideals and beliefs, which is extremely inconsistent with the firmness and militancy that * * * people's ideals and beliefs should show. Lenin once called Marxism "combat materialism", demanding that * * * people should have a proactive fighting spirit, and thought that "if you don't put forward such a task for yourself and continue to complete it", it would be "not so much a fight as a beating". [1] It is extremely necessary to change the passive "beating" practice in practice, give play to the initiative and militancy of "fighting materialism", be brave and good at answering cognitive questions hidden in people's minds, form strong propaganda and strong public opinion, and enhance the effectiveness of ideal and belief education.
(4) From the perspective of educational effect, the lack of effectiveness of ideal and belief education coexists with the lack of necessary rational examination.
To enhance the effectiveness of ideal and belief education, we should not only study specific ways and methods, but also master scientific methods and rich rational thinking. A common phenomenon in the education of ideals and beliefs is that people are confused and even surprised by the vacillation and hesitation of some people's beliefs in the changing situation. In fact, the history of socialist development tells us that when the party's career development is facing challenges or the situation has undergone major changes, it is not in line with dialectics to fantasize that every member of the party is completely consistent in ideals, beliefs and value pursuit. In today's struggle and test in such a complex environment, if we are not confused and hesitant about the ideals and beliefs of the 80 million party member team and the 65.438+0.3 billion population, it can only show that we are unwilling to admit the arduousness of our career development, are unaware of the challenges we are facing, and do not understand the actual situation of the party member team. This situation really deserves our attention.
Similar problems enlighten us that it is dangerous to fail to see the seriousness of party member's ideals and beliefs in the face of complex environment and severe challenges; Panic and failure to face up to problems are harmful. In this regard, as long as we treat it scientifically and actively solve it, we can turn the problem of ideals and beliefs into an important opportunity to strengthen party member's ideals and beliefs, which should be our correct and appropriate examination and choice.
Second, comprehensively improving the quality of ideal and belief educators is a necessary condition to enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideal and belief education.
Whether the education of ideals and beliefs can be effective depends mainly on the power of truth and personality. Both the power of truth and the power of personality should be reflected by educators, so the educators' consciousness, knowledge, cultivation, quality, responsibility and other factors directly affect the effect of ideal and belief education.
(1) Educators should learn first, learn deeply, learn sincerely, learn realistically, and set an example.
The effectiveness of ideal and belief education is closely related to the trust, obedience and imitation of the educated. In a sense, people's belief in concept value depends on the value orientation and value behavior of educators. As a teacher of ideals and beliefs, we must proceed from the pursuit of scientific truth and adhere to the position of the overwhelming majority of the people, and firmly believe in Marxism and socialism. We should take the truth that others believe as the spiritual pillar and value transformation of our own life, learn something first, spread it sincerely on the basis of true faith, and practice it sincerely, so that we can have a strong example effect while preaching and teaching.
(2) Educators should actively explore and follow the laws of ideal and belief generation and ideal and belief education.
The formation of ideals and beliefs is a combination of external guidance and internalization, which requires the guidance of educators and the self-study and practical feelings of the educated. In this process, the education of ideals and beliefs has its own internal laws. For example, the law of combining theory with practice, the law of guiding typical events and typical figures, the law of systematic education with multiple disciplines and knowledge, and the law that educators should also be educated. In other words, the formation and development of ideals and beliefs are regular, and so is the education of ideals and beliefs. On the basis of deepening the relevant theoretical research, the education of ideals and beliefs should reveal the law of the emergence and development of ideals and beliefs and the general law of belief education, and explore the law of ideal and belief education for cadres and the masses in combination with China's reality, so as to make the education of ideals and beliefs more scientific and reflect the law.
(3) Strengthen the construction of ideal and belief education and training institutions and teams, and give full play to the team advantages of educators.
Training institutions are the positions to undertake the education of party member cadres' party spirit cultivation and ideals and beliefs, and their construction level determines the quality and effect of training. In accordance with the requirements of specialization, Excellence, innovation and strictness, we should intensify construction and accelerate the pace of reform. On the one hand, it is necessary to intensify the integration of resources, integrate and optimize existing resources according to the principle of integrating high quality, and strive to highlight professional advantages and reflect the characteristics of running schools. For the potential resources, we should intensify the reform, establish an open and competitive teaching mechanism, conduct in-depth exploration and effective activation, and truly realize the professional layout, characteristic competition and social opening of party spirit cultivation and ideals and beliefs education and training institutions. On the other hand, it is necessary to optimize the training team, further strengthen the team building according to the goal of combining the upper and lower levels and complementing each other's advantages, establish and improve the systems and regulations of full-time teachers' knowledge and ability renewal, part-time teachers' appointment, famous teachers' identification and performance of duties, build an open, high-level and cross-regional teacher network, and strive to build an excellent training team with reasonable structure and excellent quality, which can meet the education of cadres' party spirit and ideals and beliefs at different levels.
