In the history of Nanzhao education, 1938- 1940, patriotic scholars Zhang He Yuan (former director of the State Planning Commission) and Wang Xizhang (former director of the Henan Provincial Department of Education) founded Nanzhao Modern Middle School. Train a group of revolutionaries, politicians and outstanding intellectuals. In order to learn and educate the noble spirits of our ancestors, such as lofty integrity, lofty aspirations, patriotic creation, courage to struggle, hard struggle and pragmatic dedication, the newly established school continues to use the name of "Modern Middle School".
