Telling educational stories
The deepest feeling of this principal training is that a good principal can tell stories. The more wonderful the teaching, the more wonderful the story, the more it can resonate and touch people's hearts. Therefore, telling a good educational story is a compulsory course for principals, and it is also a "killer" to make the work vivid and rich.

First of all, telling educational stories well requires a unique perspective.

Wenbo, president of Huaxi Middle School in Chengdu, told the story of his "Class Representative Day". Through observation and investigation, President Wen found that among the 2579 students in the school, the number of class representatives actually reached 956. This is a huge group. Although it serves teachers and students, it has never been taken seriously. Criticism is not allowed when evaluating outstanding cadres. When there are mistakes in work, there is no place to find documents, and I have done special activities for class representatives. As a result, the "first-class representative festival" of Huaxi Middle School came into being.

The organization of the activity is not relayed, but the educational significance of the activity is very beautiful. Hans Zhang, a student who has not been a class representative for three years, applied to be a class representative for one day on the eve of senior three. From morning till night, he worked hard and served carefully, and won a photo with his teacher. This photo is his most precious campus memory. Such a story is so touching, it is precisely because someone in the eyes can see every student, and a unique perspective can achieve the beauty of school education.

Secondly, telling a good educational story requires an accurate grasp of the school situation.

Xiao Min, president of Liuyang No.10 Middle School, shared his story about the growth of school characteristics. No.10 Middle School was formerly a public repeat school. 20 18 was officially changed to gaopu in order to implement the inspection requirements of the provincial party Committee. As a new school, there are no high-quality students, so we need to find the right development orientation. As the "old man" of Liuyang education, President Xiao has a wide network of resources. Starting with various associations in Liuyang City, he adopted the mode of "association+campus" and found the way to develop the school characteristics of bridge, martial arts and calligraphy.

Invite the president of the association to the school, volunteer to be a school teacher and train teachers for the school. Liuyang is the hometown of martial arts, and "Wang Jiaquan" is famous far and near. Elected as a school physical education teacher, he worships the inheritor of Wang Jiaquan, learns martial arts, keeps fit and teaches martial arts. From one to many, from point to surface, all staff practice martial arts, students' physical quality, will quality and mental outlook have been comprehensively improved, and martial arts characteristics have become a common practice. Talking about the characteristic road of the school, President Xiao is quite proud. He gathers social forces, makes full use of his own strength, trains teachers and students free of charge without increasing the cost of the school, and quickly forms characteristics. Why not?

Thirdly, telling educational stories well requires the use of educational wisdom.

Yang Xuan, the headmaster of Ruiquan Middle School in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, was full of joy and introduced the story of the school's "sculpture with a mask". Ruiquan Middle School has a famous sculpture "Biography", which asks Wang Yangming about the scene of Nandaji, the founder of the school. Nandaji sat down, and Wang Yangming stood and taught with a book. During the epidemic last year, teachers and students on campus all wore masks. One morning, President Wang was surprised to find that Wang Yangming and Nan Daji, two "traditional" sculptures, also wore masks.

President Yang did not position this as a student spoof, nor did he want to monitor and find out who it was. He happily took a photo and put it out in the school group that night, with a paragraph: "Is it a kind reminder that there is temperature, or is the superficial spoof meaningless?" Is it an educational phenomenon that should be understood, or should it be lightly laughed off? Every day, there are countless educational opportunities and countless opportunities to sneak away. Education is a slow art, and arbitrariness will kill the seedlings of kindness. Since we are not so sure, let the sages put on masks for a while, which may lead to the thinking of those who have no intention, and may give birth to a beautiful taste on those who have a heart. I think this is education, which is getting better and better in a slow and inclusive way ... "Crisis is the best opportunity for education, and warm education is the best.

I often sigh with myself why every speech is serious, dry and tasteless. I think it is because there are fewer stories, less unique perspectives on life, less in-depth understanding of the situation and less wisdom guidance on educational opportunities.

To take this course, I need to learn face to face from the excellent principals above, from the readers of educational books, from the teachers and classmates around me, observe more, pay more attention, accumulate materials, form stories, and slowly try to tell my own stories to others, one by one, so that everyone is willing to listen. I think, if so, I will take a big step on this road of educational practice.
