Cma continuing education is a requirement for registered management accountants and candidates who have completed cma examination but do not meet the requirements of professional experience to continue their studies in the field of management accounting and financial management. Cma continuing education study period regulation
Cma continuing education requires 30 hours a year. For retirees, there is no need to meet the requirements of continuing education. The certified member has completed the continuing education for more than 30 hours within one year, and the excess can be carried forward to the next year's continuing education, but the maximum is not more than 10 hour. If the required CPE hours are not completed, cma will be considered as a violation and the certificate will be in an invalid state. In order to restore the valid certification status, cma should complete at least 60 qualified cumulative continuing education hours before the end of the next calendar year.
For example, 35 hours will be completed this year, and 5 hours can be carried forward to the next year;
40 hours will be completed this year, and 10 hour can be carried forward to the next year;
46 hours will be completed this year, and 10 hour can be carried forward to the next year.

How to report cma continuing education credits?
Continuing education courses organized by IMA headquarters, including IMA Webinars, will update the personal information of CMA holders after CMA holders attend; Other continuing education courses organized by non-IMA headquarters can be enrolled by themselves after CMA holders participate in the completion.
