This Law is formulated in order to carry forward the fine tradition of the Chinese nation in attaching importance to family education, guide the whole society to attach importance to family, family education and family style, enhance family happiness and social harmony, and cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor.
