Legal basis: Measures for the Prevention and Treatment of Personal Safety Accidents of Primary and Secondary School Students in Zhejiang Province
Article 4 Schools have the responsibility to educate, manage and protect students' safety, and establish and improve corresponding rules and regulations for the management and protection of students.
Parents or other guardians of students shall perform guardianship duties, have the obligation to educate, manage and protect students, and cooperate with the school to implement relevant safety management systems and safety protection measures. Students shall abide by the rules, regulations and disciplines of the school, obey the education and management of the school, and shall not engage in activities that endanger the personal safety of themselves or other students.
Article 5 The people's governments at or above the county level shall strengthen their leadership in the prevention and handling of student safety accidents, and urge all relevant departments to do a good job in the prevention and handling of student safety accidents.
The administrative department of education shall strengthen the supervision and management of the prevention and treatment of students' safety accidents, and do a good job in relevant organization and coordination.
Public security, health, transportation, construction, labor security, culture, sports, industry and commerce, environmental protection, urban management, production safety supervision and other relevant departments shall perform their duties of preventing and handling student safety accidents in accordance with the law, and create a safe environment for schools and students.
The township (town) people's government, sub-district offices and village (neighborhood) committees where the school is located shall assist the school and relevant departments to maintain the school safety environment and create conditions for preventing and handling student safety accidents.
