China's earliest discovery of America was recorded in the ancient history book of China. 196 1 2008 "knowledge is power" magazine also released information that China discovered America one thousand years earlier than Columbus 1492. So, in the same year, Marnan, that is, Comrade Deng Tuo, wrote three articles in succession, namely, Who first discovered America, Answers to Fusang, and Nationality from Hui Shen, which were published in the column of Yanshan Nightmare in Beijing Evening News. These three articles are widely quoted, which proves that we China people first came to the United States.
The main viewpoints and historical materials are summarized as follows:
First, in the 5th century, Hui Shen, a Buddhist monk from China, went to Mexico and other parts of America to preach.
Historical materials come from Yao Silian's Liang Shu in the Tang Dynasty. There is an important record in Volume 54 of Liang Shu's Biography of Dongyi:
"In the first year of Qi Yongyuan, the state-owned Samoan Shen Hui came to Jingzhou and said: Fusang is more than 20,000 miles east of Dahan and the land is east of China. Its soil is full of hibiscus wood, hence the name. Lotus leaves are like tung trees, but it is born like bamboo shoots. When people in China eat it, it is as red as a pear, and the skin is made of cloth, that is, clothes and cotton. As a board house, there is no wall, there are words, and hibiscus skin is used as paper ... there are cows with long horns and more than 20 horns. There are carriages, ox carts and deer carts. People in China raise deer, such as cows in China, and use milk as cheese. There are mulberry pears, which are not rotten after years, and there are many peaches. Its land is free of iron and copper, gold and silver are not expensive, and the city is not rented. In his marriage, the husband went to the woman's house, made a house outside the door and cleaned it in the morning and evening. After the New Year, the woman was unhappy and just drove it away. Marriage is marriage. "
Judging from this passage, the first year of Qi Yongyuan, that is, AD 499, was the end of the fifth century. Shaman Shenhui was a famous monk at that time. Hibiscus products and customs are indeed similar to those of ancient Mexico.
This passage is repeated in Volume 79 of the History of the South compiled by li yanshou in the Tang Dynasty. Liang Shu and History of the South were written by writers in the Tang Dynasty, not far from the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and their stories are certainly credible.
Secondly, China monk Shen Hui once lived in Fusang and spread Buddhist culture in China. After more than 40 years, he returned to Jingzhou, China.
In Liang Shu, there is a saying that "its state-owned shaman Shen Hui came to Jingzhou", which seems to mean that Hui Shen came from Fusang, but it is not. Hui Shen is a monk in China, and he has the Biography of the Monk as evidence. Biography of a Monk was written by Hui Jue, a monk in the Liang Dynasty. He and Shen Hui are almost at the same time, and his record is of course credible.
According to Biography of Monks, there was a monk named Huiji in Song Wendi (424-453). He has several famous disciples, such as Monk Xing, Dao Hui, etc. Among them, he specifically mentioned: "Shaman is a disciple of Yiji. My classmate Fahong and I love each other deeply to avoid seeing them. "
Deng Tuo further cited historical materials to demonstrate that Hui Shen went to Fusang to give lectures from 452 to 499. More than 40 years later, when he returned to Jingzhou, the dynasty had changed and things had changed. It is natural that people no longer know him, but only say that he is from Fusang. From the analysis of historical data, we can conclude that Hui Shen was a monk in China and one of the earliest outstanding figures who discovered America in ancient times.
Third, Fusang is not Japan, but Mexico.
Many people used to say that Fusang was Japan, but it was not true. In almost all historical records before the Song Dynasty in China, the official name of Japan was "Japan". For example, Haibei Shan Hai Jing clearly wrote: "Japan is in the East China Sea". The so-called "belt edge" refers to the southwest of Pyongyang in North Korea today, and the county with the edge was in the Han Dynasty. Later, both Liang Shu and Heather called Japan "Japan", which was obviously different from "Fusang Country". Obviously, they are two countries. Geographically, the two countries are also far apart. Japan's position is only in "the East China Sea with the East" and "more than 22,000 miles with the East". Fusang went to "more than 20,000 miles east of Dahan", Dahan was more than 5,000 miles east of Tattoo, and Tattoo was more than 7,000 miles northeast of Japan. In this way, Fusang is far from China, Vandory and Japan. Thus, there is no doubt that the country where Buddhism is spread in Hui Shen is not Japanese, but Mexican.
Fourth, many foreign scholars write articles that China may be the first place to discover the new continent of America.
176 1 year, there was a scholar named Jin Le, probably French. According to Liang Shu's records, he wrote that Fusang was a Mexican in Latin America, and believed that China was the first person to discover the new American continent.
1872, another scholar named Weining thought that Fusang must be Mexico.
1901July, Faurel, a professor at the University of California, also published a paper, putting forward the same views as Kinler and Weining.
196 1 In August, 2008, the information about China's earliest discovery of America published in Knowledge is Power was sorted out in Russian.
Fifth, by what route did Shen Hui and others go to Mexico?
1932, a French scholar Long Fang wrote in his book World Geography: "Did they sail from a narrow place in the northern Pacific Ocean? Or did you walk down from the ice in the Bering Strait? Or when there are land links between America and Asia? "
Comrade Deng Tuo thinks that these are three possible hypotheses. Maybe there were three traffic routes between China and Fusang in ancient times, which is unknown. Comrade Deng Tuo also clearly wrote: As early as the 5th century A.D., it may not be very difficult for Hui Shen and others in China to travel from the Asian continent to the American continent as long as they advance along the Aleutian Islands and Alaska.
