Jilin City Youth Quality Development Education Base (hereinafter referred to as the base) is located in the northwest of Jilin City, 0/5km away from the urban area/kloc-0, with a very advantageous geographical position. The total area is 970,000 square meters, and the construction area of the first phase is nearly 300,000 square meters. The base is surrounded by mountains and waters, and the natural ecological environment is very beautiful.

Approved by CPC Jilin Municipal Committee and Jilin Municipal People's Government, the base was jointly named by Propaganda Department of CPC Jilin Municipal Committee, Communist Youth League Jilin Municipal Committee, Jilin Education Bureau, Young Pioneers Jilin Working Committee and Jilin National Defense Education Committee, and was constructed under the guidance of Communist Youth League Jilin Municipal Committee. Construction started in May 2005 and August 2007.

The base aims at comprehensively strengthening the ideological and moral construction of minors, takes advanced educational and cultural concepts as the guide, focuses on quality development education, and takes happy experiential education as the carrier to carry out multi-form, multi-level and multi-content educational activities, so that young people can improve their practical ability, team awareness and comprehensive quality through personal experience, sharing and communication.
