By the end of June 2008, there were 1 town cultural stations, 25 village cultural rooms and 1 amateur art teams for the elderly in rural areas, which basically met the needs of villagers to learn scientific, technological and cultural knowledge.

Yongbao Middle School was founded in June 1950 and September 1958. Yunxian No.1 Middle School was founded in the county town, and Yunxian People's Junior High School located in Yongbao was renamed Yunxian No.2 Middle School, and began to recruit high school students in June 1972, becoming the second complete middle school in Yunxian. The school has a building area of 5792 square meters and 8/kloc-0 staff. At the end of 2007, there were 750 students in senior high school 14 class and 750 students in junior high school 15 class.

By the end of June 2008, there were central schools 1 schools, 2 junior high schools, 4 schools1schools, 292 teachers and 45 students13 (excluding Nosa Middle School) in the town.
