Scholarship is a funded project jointly funded by the central and local governments, which is mainly used to subsidize the living expenses of full-time college students (including higher vocational colleges and second bachelor's degrees) with financial difficulties.

Full-time students with financial difficulties (including higher vocational colleges and second bachelor's degrees) can receive state grants in ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational schools and junior colleges approved to set up higher education according to relevant state regulations.

In the same academic year, students who apply for and receive state grants can apply for and receive state scholarships or state inspirational scholarships at the same time. Students majoring in normal education directly under the Ministry of Education who are trying out free education will no longer receive state grants at the same time.

State grants are assessed once every academic year. Before September 30th of each year, students apply to colleges and universities according to the basic application conditions of national grants, and submit the Application Form for National Grants for Ordinary Undergraduate Colleges and Higher Vocational Schools.

Colleges and universities carry out evaluation in accordance with the Interim Measures for the Administration of State Grants for Ordinary Undergraduate Colleges and Higher Vocational Schools promulgated by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and the specific evaluation methods formulated by our school, and complete the evaluation before 1 15 of that year. State grants are issued every year for 10 month, and colleges and universities should issue state grants to aided students on a monthly basis.

State grants mainly support the living expenses of students from poor families. The average subsidy standard of state grants is 2000 yuan per student per year, and the specific standard is determined within the range of 1000-3000 yuan per student per year, which is divided into 2-3 grades. The classification and specific standards of state grants for central universities are determined by the Ministry of Finance in consultation with relevant departments, and those for local universities are determined by provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government).
