Yes Langkawi University is a comprehensive university with the longest history, the largest scale and the highest ranking in Sri Lanka. It is one of the national universities in Sri Lanka. Founded and managed by the Sri Lankan government, it enjoys the privileges and status of a national public university. The University of Sri Lanka was founded in 1942 and its headquarters is located in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
