With the support of CLP Renewable Energy Fund, a primary school in Hong Kong launched a community education project called "Significant Energy Regeneration-Small Sun Power Station". The project takes the sun and energy as the theme, and carries out curriculum integration and special study, so that students can use their knowledge for constructive learning.

Solar power generation

The school can receive 7 hours of sunshine every day, and the generated electricity is enough to stably drive 5 high-power fans, air circulation system, environmental protection lamps, LCD timepieces and display screens.

sustainable development

The plan focuses on practicing and promoting sustainable development in schools. Through the construction and operation of solar power generation system, students can deeply understand the importance of sustainable development.

Environmental protection education

Through the teacher's explanation and simple experiments, students can deeply understand the importance of saving energy and how to avoid energy depletion and reduce air pollution. The implementation of this project is not only a powerful impetus to sustainable development, but also an important lesson for environmental education for students.

Dual-energy automatic conversion design

The new system adopts double energy automatic conversion design, giving priority to environmental protection power supply. In order to let students know more intuitively about the reserve and use of environmental protection power, the school not only installed a solar system reader, but also installed a solar power recorder.
