The purpose of implementing the double reduction policy is to further reduce the burden and pressure of students and make primary and secondary school students study easily and happily.
Before the official implementation of the double reduction policy, many students had full courses every day under the arrangement of their parents, and they had to study during the day and go to various counseling institutions to learn knowledge and professional knowledge at night. From the perspective of parents, various arrangements have been made to let children win at the starting line and surpass their peers, but from the perspective of students, heavy schoolwork will also increase students' learning pressure and burden.
Primary and secondary school students are not aware of the importance of learning because of their young age. If they are given too much pressure at this time, they will feel tired of learning and reject learning, which is not conducive to the adjustment and play of educational policies and will also affect their grades.
In order to improve the enrollment rate, many schools also require students to go to school for self-study at 7:30 about 30 minutes in advance. Students need to finish their homework as soon as possible when they come home from school. Students who write slowly often have to write until the early hours of the morning. If they get up early in the morning, it will affect their rest time and make their bodies appear sub-healthy.
The Ministry of Education has issued a "new policy" involving all primary and secondary school students, which will be implemented on May 8.
Achievement is not the only criterion to determine whether a student is good or bad. While paying too much attention to their children's achievements, parents hope that they can spend more time and energy on their children's physical and mental health. Having a healthy body is the key to creating all wealth.
In order to ensure the health of primary and secondary school students, the education department will implement new regulations from May 8th:
1. Morning classes in primary schools should not be earlier than 8:20, and morning classes in middle schools should not be earlier than 8: 00.
2. Primary and secondary schools in all regions shall not force students to study at school in advance in any form or for any reason, and all primary and secondary schools in all regions shall cancel self-study activities in advance.
3. 10 minutes between classes should be returned to the students, who can arrange it themselves. Students can run and jump outside the classroom, exercise, breathe fresh air and ensure daily exercise.
For the students who don't go home at noon, primary and secondary schools all over the country must arrange for them to have a lunch break of at least 30 minutes to ensure that they have enough energy to study afternoon courses.
5. When teachers assign homework to primary and secondary school students, the time for primary school students to finish homework shall not exceed 1 hour, and that for middle school students shall not exceed 1.5 hour.
Primary and secondary school students should ensure at least 8~ 10 hours of sleep every day, which is helpful to improve students' physical immunity and resistance. The body is the capital of the revolution, and we should pay attention to the development of physical and mental health while caring about our achievements.
The implementation of the above five policies is to better protect the physical and mental health of primary and secondary school students. If students often get up early and stay up late to finish their homework, they will be distracted and sleepy in class the next day because of lack of sleep, which will not guarantee good classroom efficiency and lead to a vicious circle.
Every time an education policy is introduced, it is based on the actual interests of students. With the implementation of the new policy, the policy of arriving at school at 8 o'clock was officially cancelled. As a student, the most important task at this stage is to study. When you gradually realize the importance of learning, you will fall in love with learning and completely indulge in the ocean of knowledge.
Parents should pay attention to cultivating students' concept and consciousness of autonomous learning, not to make students feel tired of learning, not to put too much pressure on students, and to help students build strong self-confidence by encouraging them, which is more conducive to improving their grades.
