The Department of Aeronautical Manufacturing Engineering is one of the earliest departments established in the College, and it is also the largest department in the College. There are more than 3,000 students in the Department of Aeronautical Manufacturing Engineering, and there are seven majors, including mechanical design and manufacturing, mold design and manufacturing, mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance and management, numerical control technology, application and maintenance of numerical control equipment, aero-engine assembly and debugging, welding technology and automation. Department of tourism management

The Department of Tourism Management is located in Zhangjiajie, a well-known tourist attraction at home and abroad, which is a collection of five gold-lettered signboards: the world natural heritage, the world geological park, the first national forest park in China, the first batch of 5A-level tourist areas in China and the first batch of pilot cities for comprehensive national tourism reform. School of Management Engineering, the predecessor of the Department, was founded in 1982. 1998 set up tourism management specialty, and in 2003, Hunan Province set up aviation service specialty for the first time. The Department of Electrical Engineering has five majors: applied electronic technology, electrification automation technology, communication technology, mechatronics technology and electronic information engineering technology, and is committed to cultivating middle and senior applied talents with strong basic theoretical knowledge, practical skills and innovation ability. The information engineering department is the youngest engineering department in the college. It was established in July 2004. It was established on the basis of the computer teaching and research section of the former electrical engineering department and the computer center of the college. Aviation maintenance engineering department

The Department of Aviation Maintenance Engineering now has four majors: numerical control technology, mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance and management, application and maintenance of numerical control equipment, and aviation mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance. There are currently 2073 students. More than 3,000 qualified graduates have been trained for the society, about 70% of whom are employed in aviation enterprises and institutions, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 95%. Numerical control technology specialty is a pilot specialty of education and teaching reform in Hunan Province, and it has been rated as a top-quality specialty in higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province. Mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance and management, numerical control equipment application and maintenance, aviation mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance are only offered in a few schools at present. It is set up by the college to meet the needs of the rapid development of modern manufacturing industry and aviation in China, and belongs to the specialty of talent shortage.

There are 2080 people in the aviation maintenance engineering department. More than 4,000 qualified graduates have been trained for the society, about 70% of whom are employed in aviation enterprises and institutions, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 98%.
