1) For autistic children, unchanging rules are more acceptable. This principle still applies in the process of making friends with people, and the sudden appearance or disappearance of uncertainty will cause them to feel uneasy. Therefore, at the beginning of communication, we should keep in constant contact with our children, gradually close the distance and establish friendly relations with them.
2) In the process of communicating with autistic children, we need to know enough about their personality characteristics, so that if there are some unexpected situations in the communication process, such as children suddenly losing control of emotions, biting or screaming, we can have enough psychological preparation and appropriate treatment programs.
3) Autistic children mainly focus on visual processing, which means that their ability to understand and accept words is far less than that of images. Therefore, don't rely too much on the vocabulary itself to help children understand other words or main words and communicate with them. Instead, you should choose to use body language to help you understand, and pictures and videos are also very effective means in the process of communication.
