Frustration education is an educational activity that consciously uses and sets more difficult conditions, so that teenagers can be tempered and educated in the struggle against difficulties and setbacks, thus improving their ability to overcome difficulties and cope with setbacks, that is, suffering education. Tempering in setbacks is the core of frustration education.
Frustration education is an important part of fully implementing quality education and promoting the sound development of students' personality. It is often the key factor for teenagers to become adults as soon as possible. Someone specially studied the biographies of 293 famous foreign writers and artists, and found that 127 of them suffered great setbacks in their lives. The sentence "heroes have suffered a lot since ancient times, and there has never been a beautiful man" shows that most successful people are made of suffering. Mencius pointed out: "If heaven wants to be the great task of Sri Lankan people, it must first suffer from its mind, strain its bones and muscles, starve its body and skin, and mess with its actions, so be patient and get what it can't do." [1] This may be China's earliest frustration education thought. In Historical Records, Sima Qian used many examples to prove that setbacks can really make people work hard, such as "Xi Bo was arrested and acted in Zhouyi"; Confucius, Cai Chen, wrote Spring and Autumn Annals; Qu Yuan was exiled and wrote Li Sao. Zuo Qiu is blind and has "Mandarin"; Sun Tzu's Art of War is enough, but on Sun Tzu's Art of War [2]. It can be said that the thought of frustration education has a long history in ancient China, and China has a historical tradition of attaching importance to frustration education. However, this kind of education has been neglected in modern society. Especially in the 1990s, China's social economy developed rapidly and people's living standards generally improved. Many people regard children as the main target of investment, and regard their love and maximum satisfaction as the best reward for a better life. Therefore, they indulge and spoil their children blindly, making them willful and fragile, unable to withstand a little setback, and making this generation of children have both the advantages endowed by the times and obvious and universal weaknesses. The reason is that our family education and school education are generally one-sided and single, such as attaching importance to the development of intelligence and ignoring the cultivation of strong willpower and the formation of good personality; Attach importance to the education of "becoming a man" and ignore the education of "becoming a man". Frustration education is an important measure to correct the one-sidedness and singleness of education and the psychological fragility of teenagers and children. This is not only the need of teenagers' survival and development, but also the need of comprehensively implementing quality education and adapting to the development of the future era. Therefore, it is an extremely urgent practical problem to widely carry out frustration education for teenagers and children in China's current education, which should arouse our great attention.
"Great men look great only because we kneel and stand up!" This is Marx's famous saying, which inspired me deeply in middle school. Now, after several educational explorations, I feel more strongly the necessity and urgency of self-confidence education for students.
Self-confidence is the psychology of believing that one's wishes or expectations can be realized. The so-called confidence education is an educational method that takes certain measures to build students' confidence, and under the encouragement of confidence, tries to complete a certain work with a positive attitude. As a content of moral education in middle schools, I think the following aspects should be done well.
First of all, make clear the purpose of confidence education.
It is not the ultimate goal of confidence education to let students establish firm confidence. More importantly, we should guide students to put them into practice bravely on this basis. Confidence education is not only a process for students to overcome the past, but also a process for students to overcome their own present and difficulties. At this time, the teacher plays the role of a catalyst for students, helping them to summon up courage and help them achieve their goals smoothly. This is the ultimate goal of confidence education.
Secondly, grasp the integrity education.
As a whole, the class should be closely related to each student. How to make every student have confidence in himself? As an ordinary class, the students in our class generally have an idea: "The students in this class have poor grades and can't compare with the intensive class." If this method cannot be changed, I believe it will be difficult for students to become interested in learning. So from the beginning, I lost no time to introduce teachers and previous graduates to students, especially the stories of individual students' self-improvement, which inspired students to build up confidence and strive for progress, and created a winning atmosphere for the class.
In the activities carried out in our class, I started with the "Ten Items" routine, encouraged all the students to compete for the flowing red flag with confidence in themselves, fully affirmed the behavior of the students after winning the red flag for the first time, and issued the initiative of "retaining the flowing red flag". Facts have proved that the number of times of winning the floating red flag this semester ranks among the top three in the whole grade, so I think a strong collective must be cohesive and confident of winning.
Third, insist on the persistence of confidence education.
The object of confidence education is living people. Being a man is not simple, but long-term. If we don't pay attention to this, teachers often give up halfway, especially middle school students. They are prone to mood swings, fail exams and make careless mistakes, which may make them lose confidence. Therefore, as a class teacher, you should seize every opportunity to infiltrate students. For example, although our classmates got good grades in the mid-term exam, there are still most students with average or even poor grades. When I started the class meeting, I praised the top students in a few short sentences. Most of the time, I encouraged the poor students and helped them analyze the reasons for their failure, so that they could be sensible and emotional, and the students were deeply moved and gave them a feeling of starting over.
In addition, persistence is also a requirement for the class teacher himself. I think as an educator, we should respect students, stimulate their fighting spirit, persuade students in time and eliminate their inferiority complex. In daily work, confidence should be permeated in the teaching of knowledge at all times, so confidence education cannot be done once and for all. Only by perseverance can we have real gains.
In a word, confidence education should occupy a very important position in the whole class construction. If carried out well, I believe we can cultivate the spirit of collectivism and form a healthy, upward, confident and tenacious class spirit.
