Wuhu National Defense Education School in Anhui Province is located at the foot of Sihui Mountain with beautiful scenery. It is a base school specializing in national defense education and a county-level institution with full financial allocation. 1994 was established with the approval of Wuhu Municipal People's Government. Du Ping, former political commissar of Nanjing Military Region, personally wrote the name of the school, and General Xiang Shouzhi, former commander of Nanjing Military Region, personally wrote the name of the national defense education center of the school. Since its founding 1 1 years ago, the school has followed the national defense law, the national defense education law, the civil air defense law and the Military Training Program for Senior High School Students issued by the Ministry of Education, the General Staff Department and the General Political Department. According to the requirements of a series of documents issued by the Ministry of Education, the General Staff Department, the General Political Department and all levels on carrying out military training for students, it has set up an army for college and middle school students, party and government cadres, enterprise employees and militia reservists. The school has been awarded patriotism education base and national defense education base by Wuhu Municipal People's Government, advanced unit of national defense education by Wuhu Municipal Education Commission, and quality education base by the municipal leading group for moral education in primary and secondary schools. In July 2004, it was named "Anhui National Defense Education Base" by the Anhui Provincial People's Government and the provincial military region.
