How to carry out the work of controlling dropout and protecting education in rural primary schools
Rural primary schools carry out the work of dropping out of school and protecting education;

People's living standards are getting higher and higher, learning conditions are getting better and better, and the government is paying more and more attention to it, but children are increasingly reluctant to go to school. According to the experience of my head teacher for more than ten years, combined with what I have learned, the reasons for dropping out of school involve social, economic, educational, family and cultural aspects, and the main reasons include the following aspects.

First, I am tired of learning.

Among the dropouts, most students are tired of learning and ready to drop out. The main causes of fatigue are:

(1) Exam-oriented education brings great pressure to students, especially those with poor academic performance, which is almost a threat. Examination-oriented education has a prominent influence on rural schools. Most schools still focus on further studies, and all activities are centered on the enrollment rate. The enrollment rate is also an important standard for school self-evaluation and social evaluation. Under such circumstances, those students with poor grades and poor discipline have become the burden of schools and even teachers, because their existence has affected the image of schools and classes. Therefore, they were rejected by the teachers and all the students. They felt too much pressure to study and eventually dropped out of school because they were tired of studying. Talking to students about the reasons why students drop out of school, 80% are due to the pressure of study and no time to breathe freely. Students with learning difficulties are extremely sensitive to the attitudes of teachers and classmates and are vulnerable. Some parents occasionally hate the rude words and deeds like steel, which will make students' self-esteem unbearable. Therefore, dropping out of school has become the best choice for students with learning difficulties. At the very least, you don't have to suffer for ranking, and you don't have to face the dissatisfaction and disappointment of teachers and parents.

(2) Students are not interested in learning.

Students' own reasons:

1, originally the learning foundation was poor, and students felt hard.

2. Students are overwhelmed and feel that learning is a burden.

3. Some students have good comprehensive intelligence, but their academic performance can't go up.

Teacher's reason:

1, the main reason is that the level of rural teachers is not high, and it is difficult for some teachers to mobilize the enthusiasm of students.

2. The frequent turnover of teachers in rural schools has a negative impact on students, but most of them can stay, and they are a little difficult to adapt to the ever-changing educational and teaching concepts, so teachers find students difficult to manage and students find teachers boring.

3. The poor teaching situation of individual teachers leads students to lose interest in this subject, and then spread to other subjects, leading to a decline in total scores and affecting their enthusiasm for learning.

Second, another reason for students to drop out of school is the dislocation of ideas. With the development of rural economy, farmers begin to pay more and more attention to students' study, and more parents want their children to learn successfully, which is a good thing. However, with the expansion of colleges and universities in recent years, the existing job market cannot accommodate more and more employed people, and a considerable number of graduates cannot find jobs. Especially for rural graduates, parents have no money and power, so they have to stay at home without a "back door", which leads many parents to think that it is not cost-effective to provide education for their children. Under such circumstances, many students with poor academic performance are influenced by the ideological trend of "reading is useless" and drop out of school. It can be seen that the dislocation of ideas is an important reason that affects middle school students' dropping out of school.

Third, the lack of rural education is also an important reason for students to drop out of school. In order to improve their grades, some schools and teachers turn a blind eye to students with poor grades and poor discipline and don't let them take exams.

Fourth, some teachers are slow to update their ideas and are eager to drop out of school. Some teachers always complain that students are becoming more and more difficult to manage, but rarely consider the reasons from their own, never consider catching up with the pace of the times, updating their educational concepts, and lacking the necessary patience and perseverance for students. As long as I meet naughty students or students with poor grades, I will try my best to run away, and I am full of confidence: "It's worth it to keep one or two people and set a class!" "He doesn't work at all in the class, and leaving won't affect others!" Such things have accelerated the rate of student drain.

5. Lack of enthusiasm for work and love for students. It is in our teaching staff that some people lack enthusiasm for work and love for students, especially those with poor academic performance. They are particularly impatient. They treated each other coldly and cynically, while others shouted at them and even punished them. Some teachers even punish their students with corporal punishment or corporal punishment in disguised form, so that those underachievers can't see their proper position and are at a loss, thus making these students who are already on the verge of dropping out of school even more at a loss.

So, how can we keep students and make them like and go to school happily? I think schools can do the following:

The head teacher is the pioneer in controlling the dropout. The head teacher should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all students, so that every student can find his position in the class, so that every student has something to do in the class every day, so that they can see that they have made some contributions to the class collective, and the class still needs them, so that every student will love his class, will not leave his class, and will not drop out of school. Therefore, let every student feel irreplaceable, and they will naturally not drop out of school.

(2) Every teacher should care for and care for every student with broad teacher love, which is the first condition to control dropping out of school and keep learning. Loving students is a teacher's bounden duty and virtue, and it is also a teacher's responsibility. Teachers should warm every student's heart like sunshine and shape every student's heart with their extensive and selfless love, especially the underachievers. Love without bias, ideological discrimination, emotional hatred, rude attitude, infect them with full enthusiasm, water them with sincere love, and let them feel the care from their teachers at all times.

(3) Teachers should be good at discovering the bright spots in students and let them find confidence and fun in their study.

(D) Teachers should attract students with superb teaching art ... Imagine if every class taught by teachers can attract students, so that every student can gain something from the class and taste the fun of learning successfully, will students still have the idea of dropping out of school?

(5) Teachers should teach at different levels and teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Most students leave school because they can't keep up and don't understand. As the saying goes, ten fingers have length. Students' intelligence and ability are also different, so teachers are required to take care of all students at different levels and with multiple goals. Different evaluation criteria are adopted for different students: expanding the ability of top students, tapping the potential of middle students, developing the intelligence of students with learning difficulties, and discovering the positive interest of students with double differences, so that they will no longer be discouraged because they don't understand and embark on the road of dropping out of school.

(six) to carry out a variety of entertainment activities to enhance team cohesion. Students leave school, especially some middle school students, not entirely because of the pressure of study. Quite a few people think that school life is boring, and it is so boring to face endless lectures from teachers all day long. In view of this idea of students, schools should organize classes to carry out some active and healthy cultural and sports activities, such as singing competitions, ball games and sports meetings. Let students with their own strengths give full play to their abilities, so that all students can feel the charm of the competition and the charm of the class collective in the competition activities; In addition, each class can also organize some beneficial activities according to the class's own situation, such as hand-making, story telling, solve riddles on the lanterns, group quiz, etc. It allows students to learn while playing, which not only develops students' intelligence, but also enhances class cohesion.

(7) Let home visits bridge the communication between parents, teachers and students. The work of the school is inseparable from the support of parents. The performance of students at home points out the direction for the development of class work, and the performance of students at school makes clear the goal of guiding children for parents. The joint efforts of both sides will make children feel their importance, especially now that their self-esteem and vanity are very strong. Teachers' timely home visits will make children feel very dignified and highly valued by teachers. So learning is also very energetic.

(8) Teachers should have magnanimity and courage regardless of personal gains and losses. If every teacher can put his personal interests aside, not to think about whether he can evaluate the best, not to care about a student dragging down his grades, and to think more about the leaders' views on himself, and only focus on education management, he will feel: "Personal honor is small, and children's lives are important." This idea may have a much better effect.

Of course, we need to do a good job of "controlling dropping out of school and ensuring that no one is left behind". This is a road full of challenges and hardships. I want to share with you two words from Qu Yuan: The road is long, but it's Xiu Yuan, so I will go up and down.
