Ibrahimovic's Early Experience
Ibrahimovic's father is Bosnian and his mother is Croatian. Because of the war, Ibrahim's parents fled to a small town in Malmo, Sweden. Ibrahimovic grew up in the Rosengard slum, an immigrant community near Malm?, Sweden. Growing up in an environment where public security is not good and life safety is difficult to be guaranteed, Ibrahimovic has developed an extreme sense of self-protection and an unruly character who will not compromise with anyone and knows the law of survival. There, he completed nine years of primary education. Although admitted to Borga Skolan Middle School in Malmo, Ibrahimovic quickly gave up his high school studies and concentrated on playing football. When Ibrahimovic 10 years old, he started his football career in a local club called FK Balkan. Most members of the club are Bosnian and Somali immigrants from the local community.
