This is undoubtedly Siming District. Xiamen used to be divided into Yuan, Siming and Huli Districts, of which Kaiyuan and Siming Districts are located in the center and Huli District belongs to the suburbs. Later, Kaiyuan District was divided, one part was allocated to Siming District and the other part was allocated to Huli District. It is bounded by Xianyue Road and Jiahe Road. Looking at the good schools in Xiamen, they are basically in Siming District. As far as primary schools are concerned, Xiamen University's famous schools such as Datong Primary School, Experimental Primary School, Baisong Primary School and Binglang Primary School are all in Siming District, while there are basically no good primary schools in Huli District except the newly established Wuyuanwan Experimental Primary School and Laohuli Experimental Primary School. From the middle school, Xiamen's famous brands were all in Siming District in the early days. Although Fanghu Campus of Shuangshi Middle School was established in Huli District by establishing branch schools and merging other schools, most of the educational resources are concentrated in Siming District.

Some friends around me would rather sell the three rooms in the lake instead of Siming's small two rooms, just to let their children go to better schools and enjoy better educational resources.

As for the outside of the island, Haicang District now has a middle school attached to Beijing Normal University, but the gap with the island as a whole is not small, and the gap in other Jimei, Tongan and Xiang 'an districts is even greater.
