Sichuan Southwest Aviation College was established with the approval of Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. It is an institution of higher learning specialized in training civil aviation aircrew, airport service, civil aviation ticketing, civil aviation security inspection, aviation electromechanical equipment maintenance and other professionals. It is one of the educational institutions under Sichuan Pan American Education Group. The Education Group has nearly 20,000 students and is the largest civil aviation ground crew education group in China. It is also one of the few civil aviation service colleges in China where students can obtain the qualification certificates of civil aviation security personnel, civil aviation passenger transport personnel, civil aviation freight forwarders and civil aviation dangerous goods transport personnel.
