The campus of Zhejiang Communications Vocational and Technical College covers an area of 403,500 square meters with a total construction area of 267,900 square meters.

The school was founded in 1958 as Zhejiang Highway School and Zhejiang Navigation School. 1In March, 963, the two schools merged to form Zhejiang Jiaotong School. 1March, 1999, Zhejiang Communications Vocational and Technical College was formally established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. 20 10 school became the backbone construction unit of "National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Plan".

In 20 14, the school adopted the National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Plan and accepted the construction of backbone higher vocational colleges. In 20 19, the school was listed as the third type of high-level professional group construction unit (file B) by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
