When was the first national adolescent physical health survey carried out?
Since 1985, China has conducted a national survey on the physical health of adolescents. The survey shows that the physical health level of teenagers in China is declining continuously. At the first China Youth Physical Health Forum held on August 19, 2006, a set of data was presented: the national adolescent physical health survey report showed that the obesity rate of students increased rapidly, and 1/4 of urban boys were "chubby". The myopia rate of junior high school students is close to 60%, that of senior high school students is close to 76%, and that of college students is close to 83%.

The doting of parents has cultivated the physique and pride of the only child. Heavy schoolwork inhibits children's pursuit of sports interest, while concerns about safety restrict schools from letting go of physical exercise.

Second, the analysis of the reasons that affect teenagers' physical health

(1) Major changes in the living environment and diet structure have led to a marked reduction in physical activity, accelerated the deterioration of human functions, and the physical health level of adolescents has also declined.

(2) The intergenerational rearing pattern characterized by overprotection deprives children of the necessary physical stimulation to promote their natural growth and development; In the Internet age, the static leisure mode characterized by sedentary behavior has hindered teenagers from obtaining lasting and sufficient sports fun, and formed the habit of regular physical exercise based on it.

(3) Teenagers are under great pressure to take exams for further studies, which directly leads to a serious shortage of sleep time, prolonged study time and reduced leisure time, especially physical exercise time.

(d) Physical education cannot be carried out in strict accordance with national regulations, which leads to the invalidation of school physical education courses and the crowding out of students' normal physical activity time; Physical education curriculum design lacks scientificity, divorced from the law of students' growth and development, and greatly weakened the exercise effect.

(5) The number of PE teachers is insufficient, the teaching ability declines, which reduces the quality of PE teaching, the lack of school sports safety guarantee system and the lack of venues and equipment, which restricts the all-round development of school sports.
