Theme generation:
The new "Outline" mentioned the goals of children's science education: caring for animals and plants, caring about the surrounding environment, being close to nature, cherishing natural resources, and having a preliminary awareness of environmental protection. Earthworms have been a curious question that children are interested in for several days. Combined with the theme activity of "small garden", I created conditions to encourage children to look for traces of earthworms on the grass. With curiosity and many questions about earthworms, we walked into nature with our children and into all kinds of creatures that children are interested in.
Activity objectives:
1. Cultivate children's feelings of loving and caring for earthworms.
2. Let children know the name of earthworm and its ability to loosen the soil and make the land fertile.
Course plan preparation:
1. A cassette tape, 3-4 glass bottles and several earthworms.
2. Outdoor natural environment.
3. Rain boots, cups and chopsticks.
Teaching plan process:
(1) Impression discussion: Earthworms are good friends of flowers and trees.
Observe the natural environment.
2. How do flowers and trees grow? They are so beautiful, what good friends do they need to help? Air, sunshine and water. )
Besides these, what other good friends do you need? Why?
Please let it speak for itself. (Playing the recording)
Children, do you know who else is a good friend of flowers and trees? (earthworm)
(2) Experience and understanding: Observe and understand earthworms.
1. Have you ever cared about the earthworm you dug last time? What did you find?
2. Why do you think earthworms die? Why do earthworms die? How to make it immortal?
3. Summary:
My name is earthworm and my body is round. I have no eyes, ears, nose and feet. It's easy to drill soil. I drill around in the soil to loosen it. I can't live without soil. My feces can be used as fertilizer to make flowers and trees grow better. Look, children, am I capable?
(3) practical activities: digging earthworms (everyone wears rain boots and a cup of chopsticks. )
(4) Internalized migration: feeding earthworms.
1. Do you like earthworms? Why?
2. Make a home for earthworms.
Observe:
It may be sunny and sunny today, so we found many wormholes in the grass but not many earthworms, which also stimulated children's desire to observe and understand earthworms. Children are eager to know more about earthworms. For example, in the process of observing the wormhole, the child found the characteristics of the soil around the wormhole. Then, why are there so many wormholes in the grass, but not so many earthworms? Why do earthworms drill holes in the grass? How does the round-headed earthworm get out of the hole? Is the hole in the grass an earthworm hole?
Of course, I will not teach the answers to these questions directly to my children. What I want to see is that children can stimulate their interest in earthworm research activities through today's activities, deepen their research and exploration on earthworm activities, and know how to get the answers to these questions. Of course, in today's activities, children not only became more interested in earthworms, but also fully felt the infinite charm of various creatures in nature. This is very effective for children to form good learning interest, attitude and concentration in scientific research in the future.
Reflection:
There are many children in this practical activity, and all the children in the class participate, so it is difficult to take care of every child. If it is done in groups, the effect will be better. In addition, from the process of organizing discussion, the cultivation of children's listening habits needs to be strengthened.
