That year, I just turned eleven. One day, as usual, I went fishing with my father on an island in a nearby lake.
It was the night before the bass fishing open day. My father and I put the bait separately, then raised the fishing rod and threw the fishing line out. Colorful ripples splashed on the lake under the sunset glow. After a while, the moon rose and the lake turned silver.

Thirty-four years later, the depressed child has become a famous architect. I've never caught such a big fish as that night thirty-four years ago. However, in the course of my life, I have met an attractive "fish" similar to that bass more than once. When I am faced with moral choices again and again, I will remember what my father once warned me: morality is just a simple question of right and wrong, but it is difficult to practice. If a person receives such strict education as putting the caught big bass back into the lake from an early age, he will gain the courage and strength of moral practice.
That moonlit night thirty-four years ago left me with a permanent memory and lifelong enlightenment.

Enlightenment from Fishing is a profound text, which is difficult for fifth-grade students to learn. 1, reduce the starting point layer by layer breakthrough
That's how teaching started. At the beginning, the starting point is set high, and with the improvement of teaching difficulty, it will make it difficult to continue teaching. For abstruse texts, the starting point should be set lower, and then the requirements should be gradually raised to make students learn more smoothly. When revealing the topic, whether it is to guide students to pay attention to "fishing" or "enlightenment", the starting point is different. If we attach importance to "revelation" from the beginning, grasp the sentence learning of "revelation" and follow the principle from rationality to sensibility, students will find it difficult to learn. From the beginning of "fishing", I realized the difficulty of fishing and the seriousness of my father's education. Then I realized the enlightenment and followed the teaching from perceptual to rational, which was in line with students' cognitive laws.
2. Focus on reading and experience in reading.
Reading is a means of understanding language. The ancients said, "Read it a hundred times and you will know its meaning." . Therefore, Chinese teaching must be based on reading, so that students can feel in reading. In this class, I consciously guide students to read in various forms and feel and experience in reading. There are silent readings that filter the main information, such as finding out the sentences that show the psychological changes of "I", the sentences that my father asked "I" to put the fish back in the lake, and the sentences that "I" was inspired. 3. Guide thinking and solve problems
The essence of reading is thinking. To guide students to learn to read, we must guide them to learn to think and learn to solve problems. In the teaching of this course, I use three questions to guide students' thinking, highlight teaching priorities and break through difficulties.
Question 1: How did my mood change from catching big bass to putting it back in the lake?

Question 3: What did I get from fishing? Guide students to contact with life by using concrete examples, so that students can talk about moral problems, such as when their parents are not at home, their homework is not finished, and they really want to play computer. Being a teacher gives more points; When the salesman gives you more change; Nobody saw it on the road. What will you do when you find the money? Students' thoughts have been baptized and their oral expression ability has been trained to some extent. By concretizing the abstract concept, the understanding of "revelation" is deepened.
Through the teaching of this course, I feel that in the teaching process, students read less, most students don't talk or think in class, students' imagination ability is poor, their autonomous learning ability is poor, and they have not developed good self-study habits. Students have not fully understood the profound sentences in the text, nor have they connected with real life. The content of learning is rigid. In the future teaching, to guide students to learn to read, we must guide them to learn to think and solve problems.
