Reform of College Chinese Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges under the Professional Background

Based on the professional background, according to Gao Gao [2006] 16, aiming at the defects existing in the actual teaching process of college Chinese, this paper makes a beneficial discussion from four aspects: professional training scheme and revision of college Chinese curriculum standards, reform of college Chinese textbooks and selection of teaching contents, improvement of teaching methods and improvement of teachers' own quality, so as to further clarify college Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges.

Paper Keywords: professional background; Higher vocational colleges; College Chinese; reform in education

First, what is the professional background?

(A) [2006] 16 Document "Teaching Requirements of Higher Vocational Colleges"

On June 5438+February 65438+April 2006, the Ministry of Education issued the document "Several Opinions on Improving the Teaching Quality of Higher Vocational Education in an All-round Way" (Jiaogao 2006 16), requiring higher vocational colleges to "take service as the aim, take employment as the guidance, take the road of combining production with learning, and train millions of high-quality skilled professionals for socialist modernization." That is, taking teaching as the center, taking employment as the guidance, and taking employment in teaching as the goal, the school will set up whatever majors are needed for social development and train corresponding professionals according to the situation.

(2) Understanding of professional background

College Chinese should have its own position in every different major and play its due role in cultivating the quality of students in every major. Under such requirements, every major and every teacher in higher vocational colleges should be aware of the professional background of this major. What is your professional background? Higher vocational colleges should set up different majors according to the needs of economic construction and market demand for talents, such as automobile, electromechanical, computer, logistics management and marketing. Each major has its own employment scope, curriculum system and its own curriculum orientation. Specifically, it is necessary to clarify the following issues:

1. What occupations and specific jobs can students of this major engage in after graduation?

2. What abilities, knowledge and qualities do you need to master to be competent in these occupations and jobs?

3. What courses can students master these abilities, knowledge and qualities?

4. What is the relationship between these courses and their position and role in professional education?

5. What methods and means should every teacher of these courses take to make students better master the knowledge, ability and quality that should be mastered in the teaching process of this course?

According to the above understanding, we can divide all the courses offered by professional education into three categories according to their position and function in this major: professional core courses, professional basic courses and basic courses. Among them, basic courses mainly serve professional basic courses, professional basic courses mainly serve professional core courses, and professional core courses directly serve employment.

Therefore, college Chinese, as a basic course, must undertake the heavy responsibility of serving professional basic courses and students' employment.

Second, the professional background of the defects of Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges

In practice teaching, college Chinese course emphasizes humanistic education, and its main content is literature appreciation and writing training. No matter which professional teacher takes Chinese class, it is the same textbook, the same handout, the same repetition of teaching content and the cycle of single teaching method. This ignores the professional background and professional differences, and ignores the reality that although higher vocational colleges are universities, their essence is "vocational education". In other words, college Chinese teaching is a public basic course without professional pertinence. Although the education of students' humanistic quality is emphasized, the service function for professional basic courses and students' employment is greatly weakened.

Therefore, college Chinese teaching should be reformed to meet the development needs of higher vocational colleges. College Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges must organically combine humanistic education and ability training under the professional background, face up to professional differences and highlight pertinence.

Third, the way of college Chinese teaching reform in higher vocational colleges under the professional background

(A) on the premise of professional background, revise the "Professional Training Program" and "College Chinese Curriculum Standards"

"Professional Training Plan" defines all the knowledge, qualities and abilities that all students of a major should master during their study at school. Under such requirements, all majors offer corresponding courses according to the characteristics of schools and majors to cultivate students' corresponding knowledge, ability and quality. Because of the different characteristics of each major, each major has different requirements for college Chinese courses, so it is necessary to write out the requirements of each major for college Chinese in the professional talent training plan for teachers' reference. On this basis, college Chinese teachers who are responsible for teaching different majors can formulate college Chinese curriculum standards for corresponding majors according to the training programs of professionals in different majors. In this way, even if all majors use the same textbook, teachers can add or delete some contents inside and outside the textbook according to the characteristics of the majors, talent training programs and curriculum standards, which greatly enhances the pertinence of the majors and stimulates students' interest in learning.

(B) On the basis of the reform of college Chinese teaching materials, choose the teaching content appropriately.

Textbooks are the main carrier to achieve educational goals, the basic basis for teaching and the important guarantee for cultivating talents. College Chinese in higher vocational colleges should not only have the surname of "Da" and "Wen", but also "Zhi". Professional ethics, quality education, professional skills quality education and professional aesthetic quality education should run through college Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges. In order to make Chinese class play a more active role in achieving the goal of talent training in higher vocational colleges, we must seriously study the teaching practice of Chinese in higher vocational colleges and determine the teaching content of Chinese in higher vocational colleges scientifically and accurately.

Therefore, Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges should be based on professional characteristics, face the market, aim at students' reality, boldly adjust teaching content, cultivate students' ability, aim at students' future employment needs, and make students apply what they have learned. Therefore, in addition to arranging the content of literary works, we should also arrange the training content of ability and quality according to the professional characteristics, such as writing and oral training, so that students can speak and write, thus broadening the scope of employment and improving their employability and professional quality.

Higher vocational colleges can set up school-based Chinese courses around the main majors, or highlight the professional characteristics in combination with the actual situation of the school, and determine the specific teaching content according to the actual situation of students in accordance with the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. If you are teaching music majors, you can choose some chapters with beautiful words and rich music rhythm. For example, Su Shi's Fu on a Thousand Cliffs, Zhang's Moonlit Night on a Spring River, Bai Juyi's Pipa Trip, Li Shangyin's Untitled and other articles can supplement some ancient music reviews. If you are a student majoring in automobile, choose an article that combines automobile culture; If you are a tourism major, you should choose historical allusions and geographical texts accordingly ... so that the professional characteristics of college Chinese teaching will gradually emerge from the content and students will be more interested in learning.

(C) the improvement of teaching methods

With the development of the times and the progress of science and technology, higher vocational students pay more and more attention to the study of practical ability and despise the study of basic courses such as college Chinese. Traditional teaching methods and means are increasingly unsuitable for the needs of college Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges. Practice has proved that interactive communication between teachers and students, flexible and diverse teaching methods, ingenious and reasonable comprehensive application of advanced teaching media and colorful extracurricular activities can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate and improve their comprehensive understanding and application of Chinese and Chinese characters in listening, speaking, reading and writing. To do a good job in college Chinese teaching, teachers should boldly reform traditional teaching methods, update teaching methods according to professional characteristics, actively mobilize students' interest in learning, and strive to improve classroom teaching efficiency.

(D) the improvement of teachers' own quality

To give full play to the role of college Chinese in cultivating talents, college Chinese teachers in higher vocational colleges must be professional. Specialization here has two meanings. First, we should fully grasp the professional characteristics of the majors we teach, understand the professional background, choose different teaching contents and adopt different teaching methods for different majors; Second, teachers should have a professional level, treat literary works with a professional eye, and explain them in simple terms, so that students can distinguish the interest of literature and understand the meaning of humanities. In addition, college Chinese teachers should also strengthen their personal moral cultivation, and exert a subtle influence on students with diligent study attitude, rigorous work style, tireless dedication and noble personality charm.

In a word, college Chinese teaching in higher vocational colleges must follow the basic laws of Chinese education, highlight the characteristics of higher vocational education, combine professional characteristics and closely combine them.
