Hainan Medical College (Hainan? Medicine? University), located in Haikou City, the capital of Hainan Province, is the first batch of national excellent doctoral education and training program pilot universities, the first batch of professional comprehensive reform undergraduate colleges and the first batch of educational informatization pilot units.

The school's predecessor was the private Haiqiang Advanced Medical Technology School founded by Mr. Lin Xiaohai on 1947 and the private Haida Medical College founded by Mr. Song Ziwen on 1948. The two universities merged into Hainan Medical College1951(1977-1979 for trial operation) 65438-0993. Hainan Medical College was formally established with the approval of the national education administrative department and under the supervision of Hainan Provincial People's Government. In 2003, it was confirmed by the Ministry of Education as a joint training unit for postgraduate students, with master's authorization in 20 13 years and doctoral authorization in 20 19 years.

The school has two campuses, with a total area of 1, 443.33 mu, 20 teaching institutions, 3/kloc-0 undergraduate majors,/kloc-0 first-class doctoral programs, 5 first-class master programs, 5 professional master programs, 1, and 265438 full-time teachers and full-time students.
