Labor education is a compulsory course. On March 26th, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities, Schools and Colleges in the New Period, which made it clear that labor education is a compulsory course in universities, schools and colleges, and set up labor education courses according to the characteristics of each school period, in which the labor education course in primary and secondary schools should be no less than 1 class hour per week, and labor literacy will be included in the comprehensive quality evaluation system of students.

The main contents of labor education ① Establish students' correct view of labor and make them understand the great significance of labor. Understanding the history of mankind is first of all the history of production development and the history created by working people; Knowing hard work is the fundamental guarantee for building socialism and communism; Labor is the sacred obligation and right of citizens; People who know how to despise manual labor and manual labor are the remnants of exploiting class thought for thousands of years; Understand the significance of combining mental labor with physical labor. ② Cultivate students' feelings of loving labor and working people. Form the habit of work, and form the quality of being proud of work and ashamed of laziness. Resist the influence of bad habits, such as leisure, hate work, covet enjoyment, get something for nothing, extravagance and waste. (3) Learning is the main labor of students. Educate students to study hard since childhood and undertake arduous construction tasks in the future. And educate students to correctly treat further education, employment and distribution.
