(1) Take undergraduate education as the starting point and foundation, and implement diversified postgraduate education.
China's law education starts from undergraduate education, and develops multi-level and diversified postgraduate education on the basis of undergraduate education. China is the country with the largest undergraduate education in law. Postgraduate education includes postgraduate education and doctoral education, and postgraduate education is divided into master of law and master of law.
(2) Basic legal education should be organically combined with extended education and characteristic education.
The undergraduate education of law in China implements the talent training mode of combining basic education with continuing education and characteristic education. According to this model, the legal education in contemporary China includes five basic aspects: ① Marxist legal theory education; ② Socialist rule of law theory, modern rule of law spirit and legal professional ethics education; ③ Legal education in Socialism with Chinese characteristics; ④ Education and training of legal procedures and methods; ⑤ Comparative law education and international law education. In addition to the above-mentioned basic education, law schools with different levels, types and characteristics can also implement the expansion plan of legal education.
(3) Undergraduate education in law is based on quality education, paying equal attention to morality and law, and paying equal attention to quality education and professional education.
Positioning legal education as quality education emphasizes that the whole process of legal education should pay attention to quality education, based on the following two factors: ① quality education is an inevitable requirement of a learning society; ② Quality education is the foundation and core of legal education. However, as a special quality education and law education based on quality education, the basic tasks of law education can be summarized as two aspects: First, to train students to become high-quality excellent citizens. The second is to train students to become high-quality legal professionals. From beginning to end, legal education should attach importance to the quality education of legal persons and emphasize both morality and law.
(4) The combination of law education in colleges and vocational training in specialized schools. Due to the limitation of academic system, it is impossible for ordinary senior law undergraduate teachers to undertake the enterprise task of legal professional teaching platform, which is completed by other educational institutions. China has successively established three colleges, namely, International Judges College, National Supervision College and Central Judicial Police College, which are mainly engaged in vocational training for judges, prosecutors, judicial police officers and lawyers.
(5) The effective connection and benign interaction between legal education and legal professional qualification examination is an intermediate link connecting legal education and legal profession, which is of great significance for promoting the development and reform of legal education and promoting the interactive relationship between legal professional qualification examination, legal education and legal profession.
